Who we are
OutboundOS is operated by AppUnik LLC, which is the controller of personal data processed through the service.
What we collect
Account data (email address and authentication identifiers), workspace data you create (contacts, journeys, templates, logs), and technical data such as timestamps and request metadata needed to operate the service.
Contact data you upload
Contacts you import belong to you. We process them solely to run the journeys you configure. We do not sell, rent, or share contact data, and we do not use it to train models.
SMTP credentials
SMTP credentials are stored server-side in a restricted table that application users cannot read. They are used only to deliver the messages your journeys schedule.
Open tracking
When a journey step uses open tracking, a small image is embedded in outgoing email. Loading it records the open event so your journey can branch. You can disable tracking per step.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never receive or store your full card details. We retain purchase records (amount, tier, status) to fulfill and support your order.
Sub-processors
We rely on infrastructure and payment providers to run the service, including our hosting and database provider and Stripe for payments. Each processes data only as needed to deliver their part of the service.
Retention
Workspace data is retained while your account is active. Deleting a contact, journey, or workspace removes the associated records. Backups age out on a rolling schedule.
Your rights
You can access, export, correct, or delete your data from within the app, or by emailing hello@outboundos.tech. Where GDPR or similar law applies, you may also object to or restrict processing.
Security
Access to workspace data is enforced by row-level security scoped to your organization and spaces. Credentials are never exposed to the browser.
